Role in BIOCON-CO2

ArcelorMittal will lead WP7, validating the industrial applicability of the commodities obtained through theĀ BIOCON-CO2 methodology. ArcelorMittal will consequently provide information on the industrial gas (composition, flows, etc.) and energy management of its Gent plant. It is also involved in data collection of gas composition (blast furnace gas, converter gas, Coke oven gas) for the database of gas compositions, integrating statistics of gaseous effluents from steel mill, cement and electrical industries, and will supply steel gas as feedstock for the pilot installation.
