Institute Overview

Nutrition Sciences N.V. (NS) is a Belgian firm belonging to the Nuscience-group and is well known for its R&D activities in animal production. The company has a strong focus on the introduction of new feed ingredients, concepts, services and technologies in animal livestock production for its customers. Its main focus today is on developing concepts and services for reduction of antibiotics dependency in livestock production.

Role in BIOCON-CO₂

Nutrition Sciences N.V. will mainly contribute to WP6 and WP7. At a later stage, Nutrition Sciences N.V. will provide input for the socio-economic analyses as well for assessment of the environmental impact estimation (WP8). Nutrition Sciences N.V. also participates in different stages of dissemination (WP9), and is involved – with all partners – in project management (WP1).
