The partners of BIOCON-CO2 are getting ready to meet in Brussels to discuss the project's progress.
On 3rd and 4th of July 2019 BIOCON-CO2 partners will meet in Brussels to discuss the project’s progress. 18 months have passed since the project began in January 2018, and almost 6 months have passed since the partners met at the last bi-annual meeting in Israel, and so this will give the partners an opportunity to discuss eachothers’ work and prepare for the next steps of this ambitious project.
The BIOCON-CO2 project is a €6.9 million EU Horizon 2020-funded research project which aims to develop and validate a versatile suite of techniques using biological processes to re-use carbon dioxide (CO2) from the iron, steel, cement and electric power industries to produce value-added chemicals and plastics.
A further update will be provided after the meeting has taken place.
